When a business trip becomes a vacation too – who could ever ask any better in this world having the privilege of enjoying both worlds? Just the idea of it, seemed to be so farfetched. Well, I say in two years from now, I am going to get serious about doing so, I hope. Hence how’s Bali Indonesia, you’d asked? We’ve been to markets, restaurants, museums and we travelled the near island of Lombok to look for certain items and meet the local businesses we were dealing with prior to even start our small online business partnership – this is a different story but all the same, It was nurturing to meet the locals and their culture and of course the Architecture.
Bali is a dream. Nobody is going out of this
tropical island without feeling impressed with everything available around the
place. And to me, Architecture is number 1. In depth, ceiling is number 2. Err,
whatever it is, it is what it is – I am looking at any dope ceilings around!
And just like in any other tropical countries like Malaysia and the Philippines,
the eco-friendly, toxic-free thatch roofing construction is commonly used.
Anyway, here’s some interesting dope photos of
our side trips.
Below: How cool was this restaurant’s column
(though I wasn’t able to check if this was a wood or concrete) with random
writings on it of their visitors and/or tourists? It seems to me, some was
almost like a graffiti and perhaps the highlight of the interior design.
Interesting, eh?
And interiors of random museum using Thatch roof construction.
