Managing Stress

For most of us life was already worrying and stressful before the pandemic, then comes the new challenges that contributed an extra ring – extended work at home, virtual homeschooling, keeping up with the new information, coping with sickness and death of loved ones, is a no-brainer, the hardest hit of the virus. Now that there is a new covid variant, life feels like a never-ending app game of an endless runner frenzy with zombies!

How we manage stress is fundamental to finding a breather. Personally, focusing on the basic like eating healthy and get as much sleep as possible are key to avoid anxiety and depression. We know these disorders thrives in isolation and worse, could multiply into other mental health factors commonly associated with the lack of sleep and eating disorders.

Speaking of eating, we never experienced any disorder associated with food because we love to eat, and yes, we still dine out but we never forget to follow rules strictly being implemented by the government of UAE in Dubai.

Interesting piece for photo ops last New Year celebration. And oh, those cookware are purely for display and not used for cooking. Haha.

Anyway despite the bad of the pandemic, people are now more empathic, knowledgeable and reachable of helping others which is the key to snapping the stigma associated with mental health matters.

Again, don't forget the basics - eat well and sleep well but before anything else, pray.
