La Mer Dubai was once a place usually bustling with people but now, because of the pandemic, some of the lights were unlit, parts of the fairgrounds are vacant, and hallways are most of the time empty and quiet even during peak hours. Since UAE is pressing too hard (and smart enough) to bring back the glory days of so many getaway places like this, they opened up a quarantine-free travel corridors for fully vaccinated from enlisted countries only. For more information, you have to download DHA (Dubai Health Authority) app as they update the measures from time to time. As residents, we’ve experience the city’s precautionary measures first-hand. It feels safe though to absorb this “new normal” thing. To name a few, thanks to group gathering limits, sterilizing procedure, sanitizers scattered all over the place and of course the mandatory use of inexpensive face masks.
Yes, we visited La Mer Dubai yesterday. As you
would expect there’s not much people around albeit getting better and
businesses are starting to boom again. Anyway these photos below I took early
in the morning upon opening.
I know that’s quite a lot of photos but I would only have to say that none of my shot matches how good the view were in actual. You have to visit and enjoy the place mainly for relaxation, food, beach and photo ops. Ah, you don’t want to miss these thematic architecture for Instagram. Tee-hee!
