Last week Dubai eased its corona virus lockdown allowing economic and social life to resume – that’s great news! However restrictions still remains that residents must follow government’s health advice and rules.
To tell you the truth, almost four months of
indoors is exasperating so without a blink of an eye, we went to kite beach on
the first weekend of eased lockdown, sat for an hour soaking up the atmosphere
of the beach while the kids had a blast swimming. OK, swimming was not on my
to-do-list as I opted to jog instead.
Oh, there you are, Burj Al Arab.
The below photos of covered seating’s curvy wooden roof was a thing taking a fair share of attention – at least to my eye as they are perfectly scattered around the area.
By the way, there are tons of things to do if
you have not been to the long strip of sand of kite beach. Get some time to
visit and be with nature “again” but always be mindful of the new rules being
implemented as the pandemic is not over yet. Ah, that quick weekend trip was a
blast, until next time!
